  1. Park safely

    Pull over to a flat area, turn off the engine, and engage the parking brake.

  2. Check the recommended PSI

    Find the correct tire pressure on the driver-side door sticker (not on the tire).

  3. Inspect the tire

    Look for visible damage, nails, or severe cracks. Don’t inflate a damaged tire.

  4. Remove the valve cap

    Unscrew the cap from the tire’s air valve and keep it somewhere safe.

  5. Attach the air hose firmly

    Press the air chuck straight onto the valve until it seals with no hissing.

  6. Add air slowly

    Inflate in short bursts to avoid overfilling.

  7. Check pressure often

    Use a tire gauge to monitor PSI and stop at the recommended level.

  8. Secure the valve cap

    Remove the hose and screw the cap back on tightly to prevent leaks.

  9. Recheck all tires

    Ensure other tires are properly inflated before driving.
